SB Instafeed Pro ("we", "our", or "us") helps Shopify merchants connect an Instagram Business or Creator account and display Instagram content on their storefronts. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to merchants who use our app.

This policy applies to information collected through SB Instafeed Pro, including our Shopify app, connected Instagram integrations, and related support communications. If you do not agree with this policy, please discontinue use of the app.

1. What information do we collect?

We collect information required to provide the app and support merchants using it. Depending on how SB Instafeed Pro is used, that information may include:

• Shop information such as the Shopify store domain and app installation details
• Instagram account information such as account ID, global user ID, username, profile image, access tokens, and account metadata made available through Meta or Instagram APIs
• Instagram content synced by the merchant, including media URLs, captions, permalinks, timestamps, and media types
• App configuration data, such as feed layout settings, content preferences, popup settings, and other storefront display choices saved by the merchant
• Communications and support information you voluntarily provide when contacting us
• Limited technical information such as IP address, browser details, device information, and application logs used for security, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring

We do not intentionally collect personal information from a merchant's customers through the normal operation of SB Instafeed Pro. Merchants remain responsible for the customer data they collect and process through their own storefronts.

2. How do we use your information?

We use collected information to operate, maintain, and improve SB Instafeed Pro. This includes using information to:

• Connect and authenticate Instagram accounts requested by the merchant
• Sync Instagram posts and render feeds on Shopify storefronts
• Store merchant preferences and app settings
• Monitor service health, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot technical issues
• Respond to merchant inquiries and provide support
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms, policies, and platform requirements

3. When do we share information?

We do not sell merchant data. We only share information in limited situations, such as:

• With service providers or infrastructure partners who help us host, secure, monitor, or support the app and who are bound to protect the data appropriately
• When required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or valid governmental request
• When necessary to protect our rights, investigate fraud or security issues, or prevent harm
• As part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate safeguards

4. How do we handle social login and Instagram access?

SB Instafeed Pro relies on Meta and Instagram permissions to access information needed to display the merchant's Instagram feed. When you connect your Instagram account, we receive certain account and media information from Meta or Instagram as authorized by you and permitted by their platform policies.

We use this information only to provide app functionality requested by the merchant. Your use of Meta or Instagram services is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

5. How long do we keep information?

We retain information for as long as it is reasonably necessary to provide SB Instafeed Pro, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

• Instagram account data, synced content, and app settings may remain stored while the app is active for the merchant
• If the app is uninstalled, we delete associated merchant account records, synced Instagram posts, and feed settings as part of our uninstall handling workflow
• Some limited records may be retained longer where required for security, legal, tax, accounting, or backup purposes

6. How do we protect your information?

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect the information we process. These measures are designed to help prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of stored information.

No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Do we collect information from children?

SB Instafeed Pro is intended for business use by merchants and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. How can you request deletion of your data?

You may request deletion of your information by uninstalling SB Instafeed Pro from your Shopify store or by contacting us directly at ujjvalgupta@startbitsolutions.com. We may ask for reasonable verification before completing a manual data request.

9. What privacy rights do you have?

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information, and in some cases to request data portability or withdraw consent.

10. Do we respond to do-not-track signals?

Many browsers offer a Do-Not-Track setting. Because there is no consistent industry standard for recognizing or honoring these signals, SB Instafeed Pro does not currently respond to Do-Not-Track browser requests.

11. Will this policy be updated?

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the law, our services, or our data practices. When we make updates, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of SB Instafeed Pro after an update means the revised policy applies from its effective date.
